List of appointments  - from pregnancy through to your baby being about 2 years old

As you will be discovering, there are several different health professionals who will look after you and your baby.

Here is a quick summary of the appointments that are likely to have.

Midwife Appointments

8 weeks pregnant (booking in appointment)

16 weeks

Post-Natal Appointment with Dr Barbara and the Health Visitor

6 weeks after your baby is born.

Health Visitor Appointments for Baby

You can see the Health Visitor anytime  - either just come to clinic on a Thursday morning (arrive as early as you can) or book an appointment with a health visitor by contacting Reception in advance.

Most people ask to see the Health Visitor appointment when your baby is a around 1 year old and again when they are a toddler - normally between 2 and 2 1/2 years old.
